Botero Sisters

Licemar and Luciene Medeiros are the third generation of the Medeiros Family and the eighth generation of the Nerino and Avanzi Families. They're Brazilians and were born during Panamericano Circus tour in the states of Parana and Amazonas. They inherited from their parents, Marcos and Alice, their circus background and talent. Marcos and Alice were the ones that taught them the circus artistry. They also learned their craft from their uncle Roger Avanzi, also known as "Palhaco Picolino", at Piolin School. They attended schools such as Picadeiro Circus School, National Circus School (with Pierrot Bidon), American Tap Dancing with Marilena Medeiros and Theatre/voice and corporeal expression with Jose Netho, Jairo Matos and Andre Garolli. Li and Lu, as they are known, have been working for the Canadian Company Cirque Du Soleil. They're part of the show Zumanity that is showing at the New York New York Casino in Las Vegas, USA.
